Has anybody else had their wheel balance weights fall off.
Your tire shop is using a crap quailty stick on weight then but you could always cover them in black gorilla tape.
My advice is make sure they are cleaning the wheel before the slap them on if not the weight is not going to stick to the wheel the way it is supposed to leading to it coming off as you are driving.
I wasn t thrilled with them being on there anyways after i had a local shop put a pair of shinko 705s on a couple of weeks ago.
As for them blaming it on your driving i would tell them to do their job and not worry about your driving but thats just me.
13 wheels spin very goddamn fast at 140 mph and i ve flung weights before but since using the heavy nashua it s stayed perfect til i peel it off.
Then i cut a rectangle w rounded corners stick it to the weights then burnish it down to the wheel tucked close around the weights.
I actually had to get a case from chrysler to get this covered under warranty.
Some of them stick ok but some fall off during a ride.

The powdercoat was a few weeks old and the stick on weights keep falling off before i even put them on the truck.
Sometimes on a new or refurbished rim the weight will apparently stick well but over a matter of days or a week or so will fall off as the paint or lacquer surface is still curing which can lift the weight.
There adhesive is very good.
